Penten Recognised for Pioneering AI Excellence 

Penten has received nominations in two categories at the upcoming Australian AI Awards. Senior Software Engineer, Kiriya Keat, has been nominated as a finalist for the AI Software Engineer of the Year at the Australian AI Awards 2024. The prestigious awards celebrate innovation and excellence, and Kiriya’s exceptional work in AI has rightfully earned a place among the nation’s best.

Kiriya has been the driving force behind some of Penten’s cutting edge AI-powered content and behaviour generation platforms. These innovations are setting new standards for realism and efficiency, completely revolutionising cyber training. 

Beyond technological achievements, Kiriya’s work ethic and leadership have left a significant mark on Penten’s culture. Over the past six years, Kiriya has mentored software engineering interns, guiding their growth into skilled professionals who have all become full-time Penten employees. 

Penten has also been nominated in the AI Innovator – Defence & National Security category in recognition of the company’s significant contributions to advancing AI technology and innovation in these critical sectors. 

The Australian AI Awards 2024 will announce the winners on 6 November at a black-tie gala in Sydney. We are thrilled to see Kiriya’s and Penten’s work celebrated on a national stage as the company continues to break new ground in AI and cyber defence.
