About the Role

The Communications Coordinator – Intern is part of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Office team and is responsible for developing and implementing a range of internal communication activities. In this role you will:

  • Draft, edit, proof and produce internal communications for a wide range of communication channels including emails, articles, Townhall slide decks and news feeds.
  • Provide input and support in the development of internal communication campaigns.
  • Support the development and roll out of internal communication activities by providing strong administrative and co-ordination including requesting, collecting and collating information.
  • Support the development and implementation of communication plans for company and business unit strategic initiatives and projects.
  • Maintain appropriate administrative systems, databases, filing systems, records and procedures.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project Outlook and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
  • Strong attention to detail, proof reading and editing skills.

Qualifications & Eligibility

To be eligible for this position you must:

  • Be an Australian citizen; and
  • Hold or be able to obtain a Negative Vetting 1 clearance or higher.
  • Be working towards Qualifications in Marketing and/or Communications or related discipline.
